1, Manawatu-Foxton fielded first. LOB lost their first wicket
at 25 and were 95 for 6 after 29 overs then all out for 168
after 49.5 overs. Bowling for Manawatu-Foxton Scott Rogers
bowled well to claim 4-25 off 9.5 overs, Kane Duffy 2-20 off
10, Marty Bull 2-24 off 10 and Myles Sayer 1-17 off 2 were
the wicket takers. Extras were top score with 41.
Manawatu-Foxton
lost Josh Parsons at 17, Jason Houldsworth, Kane Duffy, Joe
Whareaitu and Marty Bull were all out getting the score to
69-5 after 21 overs. It was then Karl Read and Scott Rogers
putting together a partnership of 72, before Karl Read departed
for 57(9x4) with the score at 142. Scott Rogers was caught
2 runs later and with a rain interuption and the loss of 3
overs and a reduced target to chase it was Steve Mattock and
Tim Sayer taking the score through to 165-8 to see Manawatu-Foxton
to victory.

by 2 wickets.
