30 overs and all out for 170 in 49.4 overs. Bowling for Man-Fox.
Steven Mattock 8.4 overs 38 runs 3 wickets was the highest
wicket taker. Tim Sayer claimed 33-2 off 9 overs and David
Schlup, Myles Sayer, Scott Rogers and Kane Duffy all secured
one wicket each.
Set 171 to win the
match Man-Fox. had a steady start to be 109-2 after 32 overs,
Jason Houldsworth (33) and Josh Parsons (15), then a middle
order collapse saw Man-Fox. slump to 128-6 after 42 overs.
Josh Shields, batting at No. 8 in the order, joined Karl Read,
who had been watching the demise of the batsmen from the other
end, put together a partnership of 37 before Josh Shields
departed caught for 19. Steve Mattock and Karl Read then saw
Man-Fox. through to victory with 4 balls to spare. Karl Read
batting at No. 3 being 70 not out at the close. Extras scored
well with 24 wides.
A good win to Man-Foxton
by 3 wickets.
