Asked to bat first against Waikanae at Manawatu College No. 1 Grass pitch Manawatu-Foxton

             batted through their 45 overs to post the score of 224 for the loss of nine wickets. A     

            Captains knock by Steve Mattock of 78, with 7 fours was the backbone of the innings,    

            Sam  Stevens 1 x 6 and 5 x 4's in his innings of 38 runs and Tyler Graham scoring 15.

            Extras were a big contributor with 59 wides and 4 byes to boost the Man-Fox. total.

Waikanae only managed to reach 109 all out in 24.3 overs with Tim Sayer claiming 3-30 off 7 overs,

             Steven Mattock 2-21 off 6, Perry Thomas 2-13 off 3, Steven Thomas 2-24 off 5 and Evan

             Smith 1-8 off his 2.3 overs. Extras also helped Waikanae adding 39 to the score.

A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 115 runs.
