2nd Grade.

          Steven Mattock won the toss and invited Waikanae t bat first at Waikanae Park No. 1 Grass                  pitch and Manawatu-Foxton dismissed Waikanae for 155 runs after 43.3 overs.   

                Steven Mattock claiming 4 – 47 off 8.3 overs, Craig Garard bowled well to take 3 – 15

                off 8 overs with 4 overs being maidens, Tim Sayer took 2 – 28 off 9 overs and Steven

                Thomas 1-8 off 6 overs, were the successful Man.-Fox. bowlers.

          Needing to bat partnerships to post a good score to win the game Man.-Fox. lost wickets at

                10, 43, 43, 84 and at 122 for 5 after 32 overs were in a good position but lost

                wickets quickly and were all out for 141 after 42 overs. Steven Thomas top scored with

                41 (2x6 and 5x4), Steven Mattock 36 (7x4), Marty O'Brien 26 (3x4) and Tyler Graham                     20 (2x4), with no other batsmen reaching double figures.

          A loss to Manawatu –Foxton by 14 runs .
