Weraroa batted first at Manawatu College No. 1 grass pitch and after their alloted 45 overs were

            181 for the loss of eight wickets. Steven Mattock 2-23 off 8 overs, Steven Thomas 2-30

            off 6, Evan Smith 2-39 off 8 and Marty O'Brien 1-25 off 5 overs were the successful

            bowlers for Man-Fox.

Manawatu-Foxton's batsmen had trouble building partnerships with only the 2nd wicket (42) and

            5th wicket (31) being of any substance. Manawatu-Foxton being dismissed after 32 overs

            for 115 runs. Captain Steve Mattock scoring 32, Steve Thomas (18), Marty O'Brien (18)    

            and Tyler Graham (13) completed the batsmen to reach double figures.

A loss to Manawatu-Foxton by 66 runs.
