Senior A (R/9) vs Academy @ Manawatu College No. 1 (1 Day 50 Over game).

                    Manawatu-Foxton decided to bat first against the Academy team at Manawatu College No. 1 grass pitch. After the loss of Josh Parsons and Karl Read at the score of 18 Tony Waugh and Joseph Whareaitu put together a partnership of 120 runs to set the innings in motion. Good contributions from Mike Smith and Scott Rogers down the order saw Manawatu-Foxton bat through to the 50 over declaration to be 243 for 8 wickets. 18 penalty runs were added for the Academy teams slow over rate to take the total to 261 - 8 at the close.

                   The Academy team batted through to the 29th over to reach 141 all out, against some steady Man-Fox bowling. Steve Mattock the pick with his 4-28 off 8 overs. Tim Sayer and Myles Sayer picking up 2 wickets each. Kane Duffy and Karl Read claiming 1 wicket each.

                    A Win to Manawatu-Foxton win by 120 runs..
