Playing Kapiti Old Boys Green at Campbell Park in Paekakariki, Manawatu-Foxton were in the field

       first and watched as the KOB batsmen batted their 45 overs to score 236 for the loss of 7  

       wickets. Captain Steve Mattock the pick of the bowlers taking 3-39 off his 9 overs, Joe

       Whareaitu claimed 2-46 off 7 and Tim Sayer and Evan Smith both picked up a wicket each.

       Extras were an amazing 65 including 45 wides.

Needing to bat well to reach the KOB total Man-Fox. lost their first wicket with the total at 10 and

       were 106 for the loss of 4 wickets after 23 overs. Man-Fox then lost 5 wickets with the score

       at 119 and a last wicket partnership of 14 between Tyler Graham and Evan Smith saw the

       Man-Fox. total through to 133 all out after 28.3 overs. Tyler Graham being 42 not out at       

       the close. Steve Thomas 23, Jason Gwynn 20 and Joe Whareaitu 16 were the only other   

       batsmen to reach double figures.

A loss to Manawatu-Foxton by 103 runs.
