                 Manawatu-Foxton lost the toss against Kapiti Old Boys 2nds at Donnelly Park No. 2   

      Artificial pitch and were asked to field first. Kapiti Old Boys batted their allotted 45 overs to finish

      at 190 for the loss of 4 wickets. Tim Sayer claiming 2-44 off 9 overs, Evan Smith 2-19 off 6 overs. 

                Manawatu-Foxton lost the wicket of Steve Mattock (16) with the score at 33, Marty

      O'Brien (11) was bowled with the score at 39, Barry Peta departed for a duck, Tyler Graham (29)

      was next to be dismissed with the total at 95, Tim Sayer (9) stayed for a short partnership of 25

      and Perry Thomas (3) was trapped LBW at 140. Sonny Tatana (55 not out) and Sam Stevens (34 not out) then batted  

     Manawatu-Foxton through to the required score to win the game in the last over of their allotted overs, 196 for the loss    

     of   6 wickets.

              A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 4 wickets.
