Tom Thomas won the toss and asked Kapiti Old Boys Black to bat first on the artificial pitch at Manawatu College. A stoppage for heavy rain reduced the game to 40 overs each but the game continued in wet conditions and steady rain to see KOB win by 6 runs. I presume KOB won by 6 runs as the scorebook totals of both teams do not add up to the totals indicated, so it looks like KOB won by agreement.

Bowling for Man-Fox. Perry Thomas took 3-35 off 8 overs, Evan Smith 1-36 off 8 and Tom Thomas 1-31 off his 8 overs.

Man-Fox. batsmen to score were Stacey Thomas 77, Jason Gwynn 48, Perry Thomas 12, Robert Blackbourn 14 and Tom Thomas 11 not out.
