Tom Thomas won the toss and asked Waikanae to bat first on the Manawatu College artificial pitch. The Man-Fox. bowlers dismissed Waikanae after 28.3 overs for 98 runs. Evan Smith claiming 4-33 off 6 overs, Wayne Blackbourn 2-22 off 8.3 overs, Tom Thomas 2-5 off 5 and Liam Forward 1-14 off 4 overs, were the Man-Fox. bowlers to share the wickets.

The Man-Fox. openers Stacey Thomas (30 not out) and Haydon Bramwell (67 not out) batted through to 24.5 overs to reach the Waikanae total. Stacey Thomas hitting 1 x 6, 1 x 4 and Haydon Bramwell 2 x 6, 5 x 4.

A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 10 wickets.
