Levin Old Boys presidents decided to bat first against Manawatu-Foxton on the newly relaid artificial pitch at Manawatu College. Perry Thomas and Evan Smith enjoyed bowling on the new surface by cleaning out the Old Boys batsmen to bowl them out for 33 runs off 17.4 overs. Evan Smith taking a career best 6-17 off 8.4 overs and Perry Thomas 4-16 off 9 overs.

Chasing the modest total Man-Fox. opted to bat their lower order batsmen at the top and Kerry Bryant scored 19, Liam Forward 5 and Robert Blackbourn 4 not out to have Manawatu-Foxton 38 for 4 wickets off 13.1 overs to win the game.

A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 6 wickets.
