Presidents lose to Levin Old Boys.

           Electing to bat first at Manawatu College No. 3 artificial pitch Manawatu-Foxton batted through to be 196 for 6 wickets after 45 overs. Stacey Thomas (74 not out), Simon Read (41), Jason Easton (28) and Haydon Bramwell (15) the main contributors to the total.

           Levin Old Boys reached the Man.-Fox. total with 1 over to spare for the loss of 8 wickets, 199-8. Haydon Bramwell taking 3-24 off 9 overs, Evan Smith 2-49 off 6, Jono Van Echten, Perry Thomas and Tom Thomas all claiming 1 wicket each. A number of catches were dropped by the Man.-Fox. fieldsmen which could have had a different outcome to the game if they had been taken. More fielding practice needed?

           A loss to Manawatu-Foxton by 2 wickets.
