to the artificial pitch at Te Atiawa park in Paraparaumu to play
Kapiti Old Boys Gold, Manawatu-Foxton won the toss and batted.
Stacey Thomas and Haydon Bramwell put on 200 for the first wicket
in 32 overs before Bramwell was bowled for 113, Robert Blackbourn
chimed in with 15 (1x6 and 1x4) then Tom Thomas stayed with Stacey
Thomas to the 45 over closure with Stacey Thomas 115 not out and
Tom Thomas 11 not out. Manawatu-Foxton posting an excellent score
of 287 for 2.

Old Boys Gold batsmen put together some good partnerships to bat
out the 45 overs to come within 17 runs of the Man-Fox. total,
270 for 8 at the closure. Liam Forward picking up 3-37 off 9 overs,
Tom Thomas 3-44 off 7 overs and Robert Blackbourn 1-45 off 7 overs.
Haydon Bramwell shone at wicket-keeper with 1 catch and 4 stumpings.
