Presidents win Championship.

Presidents: Manawatu-Foxton batted first against Levin All Stars at Manawatu College No. 3 artificial pitch. Chris Winiata (10) and Stace Thomas (17) started the run scoring. Jason Easton and Steven Thomas then put together a partnership of 86 runs before Easton was caught for 44. Steven Thomas the next to go being caught for 45 and Tony Tatana (31), Jordan Thomas (22), Jason Gwynn (18) and Joe Whareaitu (15) saw the score through to 218 for 7 wickets after the 45 overs allowed.

Levin All Stars lost wickets regularly but the No 5 and 8 batsmen kept them in the chase for the runs until Tom Thomas snared their important wickets to end the run chase at 194 all out off 44.2 overs. Tom Thomas taking 4-35 off 9 overs, Tony Tatana 2-22 off 9, Steven Thomas 1-35 off 9, Joe Whareaitu 2-30 off 5 and Jason Easton 1-27 off 3.2 overs.

A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 24 runs.

Manawatu-Foxton win the Presidents grade championship.
