           Manawatu-Foxton lost the toss against Paraparaumu C.C. at Waikanae Park No. 2 Artificial pitch and were asked to bowl first. Paraparaumu batted through to the 45 over closure to score 170 for 8. Tom Thomas and Evan Smith taking 2 wickets each, Jono Van Echten, Perry Thomas and Jesse Thomas taking 1 wicket each, the other wicket to fall was a run out.

           Manawatu-Foxton lost their top order to be 3-59 after 9 overs, Tony Tatana (13) was run out with the score at 84 and it was left to Marty O'Brien (40 not out) and Jason Gwynn (35 not out) to take Man.-Fox. to victory, 172 for 4 wickets off 26.5 overs.

           A win to Manawatu-Foxton  by 6 wickets.
