               All Star Rebels won the toss and elected to bat first on the No. 2 pitch at Waiopehu College. Steven Thomas put in an excellent opening over to have a wicket first ball of the innings and claiming another wicket 3rd ball to have the All Star Rebels batsmen on the back foot after one over. All the Manawatu-Foxton bowlers chimed in to take two wickets each and dismiss All Star rebels for 102 off 29.2 overs. Steven Thomas finishing with 2-25 off 6 overs, Marty O'Brien 2-36 off 6, Evan Smith 2-23 off 6, Wayne Blackbourn 2-13 off 9 and Tony Tatana cleaning up the tail for 2-2 off 2.5 overs.

           Having to make 103 to win Manawatu-Foxton lost Stacey Thomas (1) with the score at 11, Jason Easton (8) at 31 and Tony Tatana (35) at the score of 57. Then Steven Thomas and Marty O'Brien took the team through to victory at 3-110 with a partnership of 53 to win by seven wickets.
