Presidents: Batting first against Waikanae Black at Manawatu College No. 3 Manawatu-Foxton could only muster 120 runs all out after 38.5 overs. Steven Thomas with 24, Tom Thomas 22, Wayne Blackbourn 28 and Stacey Thomas were the only batsmen to score double figures.

Needing to restrict the Waikanae batsmen the Man-Fox. bowlers Tony Tatana and Wayne Blackbourn bowled well to claim 2 wickets each off their maximum of 9 overs. With the only other wicket to fall being a run out  Waikanae scored the runs in 36.3 overs to be 125-5.

A loss to Manawatu-Foxton by 5 wickets.
