Levin Old Boys won the toss and elected to bat first on the Manawatu College artificial pitch after the No. 1 grass pitch was deemed too wet after the rain overnight. Wayne Blackbourn destroyed the Old Boys batting line-up taking 8-26 off 7.4 overs, Evan Smith 1-3 off 2 overs, the other wicket being a run out and Old Boys were all out for 45 runs in 14.4 overs.

Stacey Thomas (16 not out) and Robert Blackbourn (26 not out) knocked off the runs in 8.3 overs to win the match by 10 wickets.
