Kapiti Old Boys Black won the toss and batted first against Manawatu-Foxton at Otaki College artificial pitch. Steady bowling by Man-Fox saw KOB dismissed after 30.2 overs for 134 runs. Perry Thomas was the pick of the Man-Fox bowlers taking 3-41 off 7.2 overs, Joshua Blackbourn 2-5 off 2 overs and Wayne Blackbourn, Tom Thomas, Evan Smith and Liam Forward all claiming one wicket each.

Chasing the KOB total Hayden Bramwell (68 not out) batted through the innings to anchor one end and at the other end only Robert Blackbourn (41) contributed. It was No. 9 Perry Thomas who stayed at the crease with Bramwell to help Man-Fox through to 135 for the loss of 7 wickets to win the game.

A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 3 wickets.
