With the Man-Fox. Senior game being transferred to Levin's Donnelly Park Artificial pitch the Man-Fox. verses Paraparaumu Presidents game was played on the well prepared Manawatu College No. 1 grass pitch.

Pram. won the toss and elected to bat on a hard and fast pitch and batted through to be all out after 41 overs for 166 runs. Jason Gwynn claimed 3-16 off 5 overs, Justin Greig 2-25 off 6, Perry Thomas 2-26 off 5, Marty O'Brien 1-35 off 9 and Evan Smith 1-32 off 9 overs, were the successful Man-Fox. bowlers. Extras also top scored for Pram with 43, 28 wides.

Needing 3.71 runs an over to win Man-Fox. lost Stacey Thomas (6) at 17 after 13 overs, Geoff Oates without scoring at 19 after 16 overs. Simon Read and Steven Thomas batted through to the 33rd over for 101 when Thomas was LBW for 27, Read and Jason Gwynn took the score to 141 after 41 overs when Read was caught for 72. Gwynn (31*) and Marty O'Brien (9*) then took Man-Fox. to victory with four balls to spare in the final over.

A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 6 wickets.
