Presidents vs Paraparaumu C.C. at Manawatu College  No. 3 Artificial.

                 Manawatu-Foxton decided to bat first at Manawatu College artificial pitch against Paraparaumu Presidents and some big hitting by No. 5 batsman Craig Vertongen saw the total to 278 for 5 wickets declared off their 45 overs. After good contributions from the top order Vertongen blasted 13 x 6's and 5 x 4's to be 132 not out at the close. Stacey Thomas (11), Jason Easton (38), Tony Tatana (34) and Marty O'Brien (27 not out) also batted well.

                Paraparaumu were always in trouble to some excellent bowling by Wayne Blackbourn (4-17 off 9), Josh Shields (1-19 off 6), Marty O'Brien (2-1 off 3) and Jason Easton (2-4 off 1.1 overs) to destroy Pram for 44 runs off 20.1 overs.

                A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 234 runs.
