                        Levin Old Boys batted first on the artificial pitch at Donnelly Park and after being 136 for 9 put together a last wicket partnership of 100 runs to bat out their 45 overs to be 236 for 9 wickets. Gareth Bramwell playing his first match for Man-Fox had the good figures of 4 for 23 off his 9 overs. Captain Tony Tatana 2-49 off 9, Marty O'Brien 1-19 off 6 and Evan Smith 1-53 off 6 overs were the other wicket-takers.

                       Needing to score at 5.25 runs per over to win the game Manawatu-Foxton lost Stacey Thomas (12) at the score of 31, then Tony Tatana and Hayden Bramwell, also playing his first match for the club, saw the score reached after 30.1 overs without further loss of any wickets. Tatana smashing 4 x 6's and 14 x 4's to be not out 136 and Bramwell 8 x 4's to be not out 62.

                       A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 9 wickets.
