Manawatu-Foxton batted first at Campbell Park, Paekakariki against Kapiti Old Boys Green. Man-Fox being 2 players short and having 4 schoolboy players helping out managed to bat through their 45 overs to score 212 for 8 wickets all out. Stacey Thomas (52) and Steven Thomas (31) opened the innings and Jason Gwynn (75) batting in the 5 spot did most of the scoring. Dylan Thomas (12) the only other bbatsman to reach double figures.

                Kapiti Old Boys Green batted through to 213 off 42 overs to pass the Man-Fox total with the loss of only 2 wickets against a depleted Man-Fox bowling attack. Wayne Blackbourn and Steven Thomas claiming one wicket each.

               A loss to Manawatu-Foxton by 8 wickets.
