               Winning the toss and electing to bat first after being transferred to the artificial pitch at Te Atiawa park Manawatu-Foxton were in trouble at 67 for 6 wickets, then an excellent partnership of 107 between Hayden Bramwell and Victor Rauhihi restored some respectability to the innings. Bramwell hit 1 x 6 and 13 x 4's in his first ever century to be not out 126 after the closure at the 45 over mark. Rauhihi staying with him for a patient 22 before being caught. Tom Thomas helped Bramwell put on 34 for the 8th wicket to the closure.

                After the loss of 3 early wickets Pram had some middle order partnerships but once they were broken fell behind the required run rate to be 166 for 8 wickets at the mandatory 45 over closure. Bowling for Man-Fox. Tony Tatana 3-33, Tom Thomas 2-32, Wayne Blackbourn 1-18 and Marty O'Brien 1-26 were the successful bowlers.

                A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 42 runs.
