Presidents:
Batting first against Waikanae Red at Waikanae Park No. 1 Manawatu-Foxton
were all out for 165 in 37.4 overs. Jordan Thomas holding the
innings together with a well compiled 87 (11 x 4), being the last
batsman to be dismissed. The only other batsman to score double
figures was Tony Tatana with 31 ( 1x6 and 4x4) and with extras
totalling 27 Manawatu-Foxton had a respectable total on the scoreboard.

Waikanae were in trouble from the start with Wayne Blackbourn
taking a wicket with the second ball of the innings. After being
55-5 Waikanae batted through to the 29th over to be all out for
112. Wayne Blackbourn, Steven Thomas and Evan Smith all taking
2 wickets each. Jason Easton, Tom Thomas, Tony Tatana and Keiran
McMinn taking one wicket each.
