Presidents: Manawatu-Foxton Pressies in solid position when rain causes match to be abandoned.

Batting first at Manawatu College No. 3 Man-Fox. lost the early wickets of Chris Winiata and Jordan Thomas, then Stacey Thomas and Adrian Vertongen put on a 58 run partnership until Stacey Thomas was caught for 23. Craig Vertongen joined big brother Adrian and they plundered the Weraroa bowling putting together a 97 run partnership with Craig Vertongen scoring 62 including 2x6 and 9x4 to be 4th out. Adrian Vertongen was next out after scoring 59 2x6 and 4x4, Steven Thomas chipped in with 34 3x6 and 2x4 and the tail scored a few to have Manawatu-Foxton all out for 238 with one ball to go in their allotted 45 overs.

Weraroa started their run chase and lost 3 wickets for 51 runs when the rain came after 15 overs. Bowling for Man-Fox. Wayne Blackbourn, Steven Thomas and Tom Thomas all claimed one wicket each.
