Presidents: Batting first against Waikanae at Waikanae Park No.2 Manawatu-Foxton put together some good partnerships to complete the 45 overs allowed to bat to score 276 for the loss of 3 wickets. Stacey Thomas (57 not out) and Chris Winiata (76) had an opening partnership of 107. Jordan Thomas (73) and Stacey Thomas produced 103 runs for the 2nd wicket and after Tim Sayer (6) departed Steven Thomas (40 not out) joined Stacey Thomas for a partnership of 55 to finish off the innings.

Waikanae Black were always in trouble to the bowling of Tim Sayer(3-20), Wayne Blackbourn(3-17) and Chris Graham (2-46) to be 109-9 all out after 20.5 overs.

A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 167 runs.
