Seniors win over Kapiti Old Boys.

           Winning the toss and electing to bat first at Paraparaumu Domain against Kapiti Old Boys Man.-Fox lost their first wicket at 28 and then Craig McGhie batted through to be last man out and feature in numerous partnerships to see Man.-Fox post the score of 171 all out after 51.4 overs. McGhie finishing with his first 50 for the club (57). Craig Vertongen (23), David Schlup (19), Steven Thomas (15) and Joe Whareaitu (11) the only other batsmen to reach double figures.

           An excellent opening spell by David Schlup and Tim Sayer saw K.O.B. on the back foot chasing the Man.-Fox total. K.O.B. were 3-19 after 8 overs with Sayer claiming 2-4 off his first 2 overs. David Schlup bowled a marathon 21.3 overs on the trot to capture 6-64 and with Captain Scott Rogers claiming 2-16 off 7 overs Kapiti Old Boys were all out after 42.3 overs for 122 runs. A feature of the bowling of Schlup was he bowled five victims and had the other one L.B.W.

           A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 49 runs
