Weraroa started the day on 120 for 3 and continued to score freely to bat out their 60 overs for first innings points to declare at 308 for 9 wickets. Bowling for Man/Fox. Tim Sayer claimed 3-60, Steve Mattock 2-76 off 16 overs, Myles Sayer 1-53 and David Schlup 1-24 were the wicket takers.

Starting their 2nd innings needing to score 112 runs to make Weraroa bat again for outright points the Manawatu-Foxton batsmen put together some good partnerships to be 189-8 All Out after 45.2 overs, being two players short did not help the batting order. Kane Duffy top scored with 53 including 10 fours, Josh Parsons 41, Scott Rogers 31 and Jason Houldsworth 30 were the main contributors.

Needing 79 runs to win outright Weraroa finished up 3 runs short to be 76-3 at stumps. David Schlup 2-36 and Myles Sayer 1-21 the successful bowlers.

A loss on the first innings to Manawatu-Foxton.
