Senior A 2nd Day. Starting the 2nd day 38 runs in arrears the Manawatu-Foxton bowlers had to restrict Paraparaumu to a small total to set up a 2nd innings target. Paraparaumu declared after 49 overs with their total at 198 for 8 leaving Manawatu-Foxton 227 to score for outright victory. Bowlers to stand out for Manawatu-Foxton were David Schlup claiming his first 5 wicket haul 5-37 off 16, Steve Mattock 2-46 off 14 and Mike Smith 1-42 off 10.

Manawatu-Foxton started the chase well with Jason Houldsworth (22), Josh Parsons (20), then Kane Duffy (39), David Schlup (65), Ricky TeTomo (34) and Steve Mattock (18 not out) getting Man-Fox to their target to win by 1 wicket, 238 for 9 in 51.4 overs. Manawatu-Foxton escaped a loss with Myles Sayer being bowled off a No Ball which would have seen Pram win, but Man-Fox scrambled to victory.
