             Captain Scott Rogers once again won the toss for Manawatu-Foxton and decided to bat first at Weraroa Domain Grass pitch against Weraroa C.C. Man.-Fox. batsmen put together some good partnerships but at 153 for 6 after 42 overs looked to be in a spot of trouble. It was left to the tail enders to produce some runs to enable Man-Fox. to bat out their 60 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Craig Vertongen top scoring with 60 (2 x 6 and 7 x 4), Sonny Tatana showing some good form with 27 not out, Tyler Graham 18 and Tim Sayer 11 not out, saw Man.-Fox. through. Of the top order batsmen Mike Smith 38, David Schlup 31, Craig McGhie 19 and Joe Whareaitu 15 contributed to the total.

            Having Weraroa 3-31 after 15 overs had Manawatu-Foxton in a good position to push on for victory. Weraroa finishing all out for 161 off 47.4 overs. Tim Sayer, Mike Smith, Scott Rogers, Craig McGhie all claiming 2 wickets each and David Schlup picking up 1 wicket.

          A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 96 runs.
