Senior A: Winning the toss against Levin Old Boys at Western Park No. 1, Steve Mattock Captain for the day elected to field first. After David Schlup (1-25) and Steve Mattock (2-31) each picked up a wicket in their first overs, Mattock with first ball, Levin Old Boys struggled for runs. Myles Sayer (5-6 off 6 overs) and Scott Rogers (2-13) then cleaned up the innings to have Old Boys all out in 24.4 overs for 86 runs.

After losing Josh Parsons (6) and Jason Houldsworth (32) to be 58-2, Tony Waugh (72) and Mike Smith (88) steadied the innings with a 102 run partnership for the 3rd wicket. Scott Rogers (12) and Steve Mattock (11 not out) added a few more runs when Mattock declared at 245 for 7 wickets, a lead of 159 on the first innings.

Old Boys batted out the remaining overs in the the day to be 46 without loss in their second innings in 17 overs.
