           Paraparaumu won the toss and elected to bat on their home pitch at Kenekena Park. Steady bowling by the Man-Fox. bowlers saw Pram. dismissed after 37 overs for 159 runs. Josh Parsons starred for Man-Fox. taking 6-48 off 9 overs, his first 6 wicket bag for the club. Captain Scott Rogers bowled well to pick up 2-26 off a lengthy spell of 15 overs, including six maiden overs. David Schlup and Tim Sayer claimed 1 wicket each.

           Man-Fox. made a bad start to the chase for maximum points being 3 for 14 after 6 overs, Steven Thomas (32) and Craig Vertongen (57) held partnerships together as other batsmen departed. After Scott Rogers and Craig Vertongen were dismissed in consecutive balls it was left to the last wicket pair of Sonny Tatana and Tim Sayer to score the 4 runs needed to get Man-Fox. to victory.

           A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 1 wicket
