                  Manawatu-Foxton have a first up loss to Paraparaumu. On an overcast and blustery day at Donnelly Park No. 2  

                  Manawatu-Foxton lost the toss and were put in the field.  Pram lost their first wicket at 14 but good contributions from

              the rest of the batsmen saw them bat through their 50 overs to be 242 for the loss of 7 wickets. Man-Fox bowlers to stand

              out were David Schlup with 4-37 off 10 overs and Kane Duffy 2-37 off 10 overs as well. Steven Mattock was the other       wicket-taker with 1-63 off 9 overs.

Needing to bat well Man-Fox were always struggling to keep to the run rate required and were all out after 32.3 overs for 135 runs. Karl Read top scoring with 38 and Tim Sayer opening the batting scored 18, extras were very helpful managing 34 wides and 10 leg byes.

A loss to Manawatu-Foxton by 107 runs.
