KOB won the toss and decided to bat on an overcast and gloomy
Labour Week-end Saturday. Excellent bowling by David Schlup and
Steven Mattock ensured that Man-Fox picked up early wickets. After
being 4-42 KOB were all out after 45.4 overs for 140 runs. David
Schlup taking 3-34 off 9 overs, Steven Mattock 1-24 off 10, Scott
Rogers 2-27 off 10, Tim Sayer 2-11 off 2.4 and Kane Duffy 1-18
off 10 overs, were the successful bowlers.
After a period off the field for rain Man-Fox were set a target
of 120 off 35 overs to win the match. Man-Fox started by losing
3 wickets for 18 runs, then Kane Duffy (35) and Nathan Paki (50)
added 78 runs for the 4th wicket, then it was left to David Schlup
and Steven Mattock to see Man-Fox through to 122 for the loss
of 6 wickets off only 18.4 overs.
A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 4 wickets.
