                 Winning the toss and batting first on the Manawatu College No. 1 pitch Manawatu-Foxton put together a couple of good partnerships to bat through their 50 overs to be 241 for 9 wickets at the mandatory close. Karl Read scoring 46 runs with 7 x 4's, Scott Rogers 46 not out with 1 x 6 and 4 x 4's, Steven Mattock batting at No. 9 scoring 23, Kane Duffy 19 and Myles Sayer at No. 11 hitting 17 not out with 1 x 6, 1 x 4 and a 5.

                 Tight bowling by the Man-.Fox Bowlers restricted Weraroa to 184 all out after 45.3 overs. Scott Rogers having a good double taking 4-56 to go with his batting score, David Schlup and Myles Sayer each taking 2 wickets each and Steve Mattock and Kane Duffy 1 wicket each.

                 A win to Manawatu-Foxton by 57 runs.
